The doctor is excellent and really nice, but the wait time was way too long. I only had 1 hour lunch time to see her, and the wait itself took longer than 1 hour.
I will go back to her, but if the wait time is still the same as last time, I'll start searching for other doctors.

If it is important to you to have a very personal approach to your health by an extremely competent hematologist who truly cares, takes time to speak to you and to explain and quickly turns paperwork around, I would highly recommend Dr Mastan. It has been one of the most pleasant encounters with a HCP I have had so far. And I have had many as a patient. And I am a physician myself.

Considering my not so nice experience with doctors, where it feels like a lot of doctors see their patients as dollar bills, I have to say that Dr. Alina Mastan is absolutely wonderful and different doctor. Dr. Matsan has a wonderful and kind manner. She really took the time to get to know me both as a patient in terms of medical history and concerns and as a person. I really felt as though she cared about her patients and making them feel comfortable. She explained everything and was very thorough--definitely would recommend and will be going back myself.

My past PCD just left NYC. So I am looking for a new one, and I am glad I've found Dr. Mastan. I went in for a check-up/basic physical exam. Dr. Mastan was extremely thorough! She carefully listened to all my current problems, asked questions about my health history, and gave me complete explanations to my questions before and during the physical exam. She didn't ignore any of my concerns, instead she prescribed what seemed like the appropriate tests. I look forward to working with her as my healthcare provider.
