In your opinion, what should be the role of a primary care provider for a patient, taking into account both physical health and behavioral health needs? The role of the primary care provider is to be the gatekeeper of the patient. Primary care providers make sure that they are on track to live healthy lives and get them back on track should problems begin to arise. Tell us a little bit about yourself. What do you like to do in your spare time? I have worked in health care for 17 years and at this point, it has been sewn into the fabric of my DNA :) I love to exercise and to live in New York City where I raise my children.
