MUST LEAVE Ins ID# Dr. Allen Fuchs is a compassionate gynecologist who takes pride in educating his patients regarding their health concerns. Patients are allowed to freely voice their concerns and they are then educated (in plain English) regarding their issues. Risks, benefits and alternatives are discussed and a plan is formulated, taking into account the wishes and desires of all involved.
The office is conveniently located on the North shore of Staten Island at 1478 Victory Blvd. Several bus stops are located directly in front of the office (61, 62, and 66 bus routes). The office is large and well-appointed with a comfortable waiting room, spacious exam rooms including a procedure room and in-office sonograms.
Dr. Fuchs does not currently deliver babies, which is a benefit for most of our patients. The doctor will not cancel hours due to having to go to the hospital for a delivery or be late due to a delivery that goes longer than expected. Office appointments are well spaced so crowding and delays are minimized. Dr. Fuchs will evaluate pregnancies less than 12 weeks for size/dates, heartbeat, proper location and possible multiple gestation.
Dr. Fuchs does perform terminations of pregnancy, up to 12 weeks, in the safety and comfort of Staten Island University Hospital under anesthesia. He does this after evaluation of the pregnancy in the office, including sonogram and bloodwork.
