About Dr. Noor Taied
Dr. Noor Nicole Taied is a board-certified family medicine physician who treats a variety of conditions including, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and diabetes.
She completed her B.A. in Biology from Stern College for Women-Yeshiva University, graduating Magna Cum Laude honors. She went on to earn both her M.S. in Biomedical Sciences and D.O. from Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine. Afterwards, she completed her residency training in Family Medicine at Nassau University Medical Center. During residency, she developed a particular interest in women’s health and preventative care for which she received specialized training.
Dr. Taied is passionate about providing comprehensive primary care by working closely together with each patient to design a treatment plan that is based on the patient’s unique needs to achieve the best outcome possible.

I thought the appointment went well but couple of days later I got an invoice that I was never informed about during my visit. Otherwise the visit was nice but I didn’t appreciate the unclear communication.

When i arrived they said my appointment was canceled. They were confused & asked me for proof of an appointment confirmation so I showed it. She said oh sorry and that was all. No reschedule, no let me see what we can do, just a confused helpless front desk.

Would love my copay back for this appointment. Dr. literally said “why are you here” and asked me which medicine I would like prescribed before proceeding to not actually prescribe anything. When she decided to run blood tests, again she said “what would you like tested?” At one point I responded, “aren’t you the doctor?”, but it was a futile attempt to actually get any care. Avoid at all costs.

Was in a lot of pain and every other patient was seen immediately, despite my being about 1/2 hour early, and then I was still not seen right away. When I was let out I was not able to make a follow-up as it was Friday and I guess the front desk logs out early?
My body is pretty complicated and I didn’t feel too confident when I had to explain what a pretty common medication does and spell another (although, I can forgive spelling). And when I didn’t know the exact name of a surgery I had, she said “let me know when you figure it out.” It was a surgery that doesn’t have a common name and other doctors have figured it out. I honestly didn’t trust the diagnosis and am going to find another doctor, which is a huge pain, literally, because I haven’t been able to sleep due to the acute pain I’ve been in and I’ve also got chronic pain. I just don’t have time and energy to do this repeatedly.
