I liked him immediately for his professional manner and getting to the point on what I will require and how he and other associates can meet my needs. However, the pic you show isn't Dr. Geltzer, if that really matters. He is also young and vibrant as the fellow you show, but it doesn't meet the lineup. I have some requirements to meet based on past records and I will have more to come as it happens. Thanks for lining me up with him. Daniel

More about Dr. Allen Geltzer, MD
Dr. Allen Geltzer was raised in Providence, Rhode Island and received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Biology at Brown University, an Ivy League school located in Providence. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts. Afterwards, he moved directly to Seattle and completed his internship and residency specializing in primary care medicine at the Virginia Mason Medical Center. During residency, he published an article entitled “Effects of Weather on Carbon Monoxide Suicides in Western Washington,” which, interestingly, found that the incidence of suicides by carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning increased after one to seven days of rain.
Upon completion of residency in 1998, Dr. Geltzer began working for Overlake Internal Medicine Associates. He has been a board certified internist specializing in primary care medicine since that time. He has been the ongoing Vice President of the clinic and the primary care clinic executive representative since 2008. In 2009 he was featured in the Mercer Island Reporter for his role in saving a fellow tennis player in cardiac arrest (http://www.mi-reporter.com/news/63615207.html).
Dr. Geltzer has enjoyed living in the Bellevue area since 1995. His interests include skiing, windsurfing, and hiking with his two bilingual children and French wife.

Dr Geltzer is uncomfortable with recommending anything other than medications. I went in for assistance dealing with depression, anxiety, and stress and his only solution was that I should quit my job and get on medication. He didn't even feel comfortable writing a prescription for massage therapy. I would never recommend him to anyone. Very un-imaginative, un resourceful, and incapable of thinking outside the box. I am unimpressed and disappointed.
