I have only seen him for a consult so far but he seems extremely knowledgeable and very nice. I have been dealing with a situation for over 5 years and have seen several doctors regarding the issues and nobody has been able to narrow down the cause until now. When I explained the issues he seemed to know exactly why the problems have arisen. IWhat he explained to me is happening seems to be the exact cause of 5 years of extreme pain. He is the first doctor to take the time to actually determine the cause of the issues so he can correct them the first time instead of just trying to partially fix the problem where in a year I will be back with the same complaints because they reoccurred. I have already had 3 surgeries to correct issues and all the doctors up to this point have planned on only doing a partial correction instead of a complete correction. If they don't get to the point of why the issues have happened in the first place then it will either not be resolved or it will happen again and I will be in the same place I am now. I refuse to go through surgery and risk my life like all surgeries have the potential to do, when nothing will be resolved, and he is the first dr to agree. Hopefully everything will be authorized and the issues will be corrected. I am cautiously optimistic but he seems like a good doctor.

He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He then attended medical school at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, CO. Dr. Testa then proceeded to complete his General Surgery training at the Phoenix Integrated Surgical Residency program and then focused his surgical expertise in the field of plastic surgery. He completed his Plastic and Reconstructive surgery training at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. His interest in plastic and reconstructive surgery stems from his desire to restore form and function in a precise manner that is also aesthetically optimal. Dr. Testa is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery as well as the American Board of Surgery and is an active participant in Maintenance of Certification programs with both organizations.
