Dr. Morse is a Board Certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who graduated Summa Cum Laude from Duke University and at the top of his class from the Duke University School of Medicine where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed an Internship and Junior Residency in General Surgery at Barnes Hospital/Washington University and his Assistant Residency year, Senior Residency year and Chief General Surgery Residency training with world renowned Dr. Seymour Schwartz at the University of Rochester School of Medicine. Awarded a Farley Research Fellowship in Pediatric Transplant Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School, he authored numerous peer reviewed basic science and clinical papers related to hepatobiliary disease in children under the tutelage of Dr. Joseph Vacanti who along with Dr. Robert Langer furthered our understanding of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine and Surgery for which the three have several patents for their work at Harvard and MIT. Dr. Morse was trained in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Florida and is uniquely trained as a Plastic Surgeon having also completed an Orthopedic Hand & Upper Extremity Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. In private practice for over 25 years Dr. Morse has also developed a significant experience in awake body contouring cosmetic surgery having performed thousands of liposuction procedures along with skin tightening Radio Frequency and skin excision procedures of the head and neck, torso and both upper and lower extremities. Trained by one of the pioneers of Laser Surgery, Dr. Raymond Lanzafame while in Rochester, Dr. Morse is also a Certified Expert utilizing multiple laser platforms performing thousands of treatments for head and neck skin resurfacing, hair, pigmented lesion and tattoo removal, and as an adjunct in many disparate general and plastic surgical procedures.
