She is smart and skilled. She saved my life. Perhaps she is a bit curt at times but she has a wickedly funny sense of humor that makes up for it. She is quick-witted and clever. Her sense of humor cheered me up.
She is blunt and factual, which may not sit well with others, but I really appreciated it. She looked me in the eyes and gave me the facts about the chances of my cancer returning.
While I was in the hospital it was obvious she really cared about my wellbeing. She brought me the pathology report the next morning when she checked in on me and explained it.
The stoma she made for my loop ileostomy was obviously done by the hands of a perfectionist. It is beautiful work. She is highly skilled.
She implemented (or created) a very useful program at IU Health called ERAS (enhanced recovery after surgery) to help patients recovery more successfully. It is very well thought out program.

For me it seems like there is alot of people in the waiting area but know that there are several doctors seeing different patients for different reasons. I've never had to wait over 30 minutes for my doctor and when you get back to the room the doctor has came in shortly after the nurse leaves. My doctor was never rushing me out and made sure I understood everything. It always a nice experience!

After just a short visit with the Dr. I had complete confidence with her care and kindness and especially her expertise in identifying my condition and her plan of treatment. She stayed and answered any all questions I had and I felt comfortable when I left that she genuinely was concerned with helping me.
