After completing her first Bachelors degree in Exercise Science and Health, Amanda was left with one pressing question: what is the best way for us to eat? She saw all the conflicting information that was available and figured that if she was still confused by it, everyone else must be too. This is what prompted her to go back to school to become a dietitian and obtain a Masters in Nutritional Sciences.
Amanda has experience in many different settings from sports physical therapy, outpatient functional medicine, collegiate football, and community centers. Her passion is in helping people learn about themselves and how nutrition can fit into their current lifestyle. Her approach is to act as a guide, not the food police, and will lean on you for your expertise since you know yourself best! She would be a great fit for you if you are looking for an empathetic, kind, evidence-based, and patient-centered practitioner to help you meet your health goals.
She is trained in sports nutrition, but has experience with general wellness, diabetes management, hypertension, and more.
