About Ami
I received both my Bachelor of Science in Communication Science and Disorders and my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Radford University in Radford, VA. I have worked in a variety of settings over the past 14 years including skilled nursing, assisted living, home health, outpatient clinics, schools, and teletherapy! I am also a Certified Autism Specialist.
My Approach To Speech Therapy
My approach to therapy has grown over the years, and I find that a combination of client-led and clinician-directed strategies creates a reciprocal relationship and fosters rapport, safety, and an environment for growth.
