Amina Haji, MD is dual board certified in Family Medicine and Integrative and Holistic Medicine.
She is a 4th generation physician who grew up in Bryan, Texas learning the art and science of health and medicine from her physician parents in their busy family medicine practice. She achieved her BA in Psychobiology at Pomona College in Claremont, California in 1993 and returned to Texas to complete her medical education at Texas A&M Health Science Center, completing residency in Family Medicine at the Austin Medical Education Programs through Seton and St David’s hospital and clinics in 2004. Dr. Haji had the opportunity to travel and learn best practices in medicine internationally in places like India, Cuba, Australia, and New Zealand. She has practiced with CommUnityCare, People’s Community Clinic, and Baylor Scott & White in public non profit, private non profit, and private for profit settings. After learning how medicine is practiced and how our medical system is structured, she is committed to shifting from sick care to health care for all by developing an accessible, whole person, collaborative care model of care.
