Welcome to River Hills Family Medicine. If you are a new patient to our office, please be sure to complete all of your new patient paperwork before your visit. If this is not completed by your appointment time, we will need to reschedule your appointment. I would highly UN-recommend visiting this office. While Nichole was overall "passable," literally every other part of my experience here was awful.
I booked an appointment here for a really basic annual physical. When I showed up for my 10:20 AM appointment, I was able to "enter" quickly, but that's when the problems really started.
1) The nurse (or medical assistant) incorrectly measured my height (and probably weight), which isn't a huge deal, but when you hear someone say "oh you're 5'7" and then you have to correct them to say that you're 5'10 and then they agree with you and backtrack, you know they're not really checking anything
2) I waited ~1.5 HOURS INSIDE the doctor's room. I was so bored that I was literally able to watch 3.5 episodes of The Office on my phone until I got fed up from all of the laughing and talking I heard (for an extended period of time) and stepped outside and demanded to be seen.
3) While Nichole was fine overall, I saw her for maybe 5 mins before being sent off. The only thing I asked her was for some basic annual physical exam stuff (STD, cholesterol, blood pressure checks, etc.), and even THAT went poorly. Not only did she not order the correct tests at the testing center (Clinical Pathology Labs), there was a 1.5 week delay in the actual ORDERING of all the tests after she had told me I could go right away after seeing her.
4) When I called the office to talk to her medical assistant (because I had not heard from the PA or anyone after a week), the medical assistant assured me that everything looked fine on my tests. I asked about my cholesterol and blood pressure point blank to which he said "everything looks normal." I then asked if he could send me my results at which point I found out that only the random STD tests had been performed and contacted them again immediately to send over all of the reports. It was then he notated that there was a mix-up with the testing center and they forgot to test my cholesterol levels (amongst other things) and that I needed to go back to the testing center. Even after being caught in a bold-faced lie, the medical assistant brushed it off and said that these kinds of errors happen all the time....
Long story short, DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANY REASON. The incompetence is insanely high here (enough for me to write a scathing review), and it's an absolute complete waste of time.
