Moinfar, M.D., completed advanced fellowship training in shoulder surgery and sports medicine at the Duke University Medical Center. His practice is dedicated primarily to both arthroscopic and open surgery of the shoulder and knee, and sports medicine. Dr. Moinfar is a native of Northern Virginia and obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University and completed his orthopaedic surgical residency training at the University of Maryland/Shock Trauma Center. Dr. Moinfar then pursued an additional year of fellowship training at Duke University where he gained expertise in the most advanced treatment of complex shoulder and knee conditions, including reconstructive and restorative procedures for cartilage, meniscus, and ligament injuries. Dr. Moinfar has special interest in the education, prevention, and treatment of sportsrelated injuries. He has acted as an assistant team physician for Duke University, North Carolina Central University, and Jordan High School; currently he holds the position of team physician for North County High School and the Baltimore Nighthawks. Dr. Moinfar's research interests include shoulder instability and knee ligament injuries. He is Board Certified, a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and a member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and is the President of the Maryland Orthopaedic Association.

Note really professional send his assistant to do all his work he may be scared to face the patient and he is not really a good doctor he don't understand the situation of the patient he just want to make money I think not professional and his assistant also like him
