“I went to see Dr. Svoboda for my ACL tear because I wanted clarity on whether surgery was the right option for me. He was incredibly friendly, transparent, and kind — the kind of doctor who immediately makes you feel comfortable. He walked me through my scans, explained everything clearly, and I never felt rushed or pushed into anything. He also has a whole team around him who are professional, attentive, and very flexible, which makes the entire experience even smoother. The only thing to keep in mind, and this might be unique to this day and time, is that the wait time was extremely long (over two hours before being taken in). At least there was coffee and Wi-Fi, so that helped. Overall, I truly recommend him if you’re dealing with a knee injury or considering ACL surgery. Great doctor, great team, and you feel very well taken care of.”

Dr. Svoboda is very friendly, obviously knowledgable, and willing to listen and help in any way possible. In fact the entire office was great, from the front desk to the x-ray tech and everyone in between. Highly recommend!
Verified patient
Nice doctor but the first time I visited I waited over an hour and the second was two hours which really pushes the limit of professionalism.
Excellent
He was thorough and is starting with preventive care. He explained the different stages of care and I appreciate he is starting with prevention.
Verified patient
Dr. Svoboda is great and couple of the front desk staff were nice, but the main nurse I saw clearly needed a day off or a vacation. She wasn’t nice, and basically forgot about me, increasing my wait time.
Good doctor.
Verified patient
Dr Svoboda is great.
Dr Svoboda was great when I finally saw him. The wait for my appointment was insane and seemed to be an issue that someone in the office didn't show up that day. Bad luck, and hopefully a one-time issue.

I’m glad others have had positive experiences with Dr Svoboda. I respect his expertise and he seems like a nice guy, but he talked way more than he listened and it was hard to get him to stop talking long enough to voice my concerns and questions. In addition, I waited more than an hour to see him at both appointments, and the second appointment was scheduled for 9am. How can they be that delayed when they’ve only been open an hour? If I need this expertise in future, I’ll look for another provider. Office staff was great, though.
Thank you doctor. Amazing team!
Appointments were running over an hour behind schedule. They didn't try to call me before I arrived to reschedule. Not respectful of my time at all
Dr. Svoboda was outstanding. I went to him for a second opinion about my hip issue. He carefully looked at my MRI and X-Rays and explained to me what he was seeing. He then gave his opinion as to my condition and treatment options. He is a caring and knowledgeable. Being a veteran, I was impressed with his military career and service to our country. He spent over 10 years at West Point where he treated cadet athletes. His work with professional athletes in the DC area today is impressive. Overall, a great experience and I can't recommend him highly enough.
Verified patient
Dr. Svoboda was clear in describing two possible reasons for my knee pain and gave me several recommendations for treatment. He was friendly and I didn't feel rushed during my appointment.
Verified patient
Dr. Svoboda has run over an hour late every time I’ve had an appointment. It’s infuriating and disrespectful to people who have to take time off work. He also over-explains simple things, and doesn’t leave you space to ask questions unless you talk over him.
Verified patient
Friendly, efficient staff ( James in particular ). Waited awhile for the Doctor. He was friendly, articulate and informative. Explained everything including the next steps clearly.
Verified patient
He was clear about what the diagnosis is as well as the management and treatment. Would highly recommend. The staff was very polite, knowledgeable and respectful.
