Dr. Rehman received his postgraduate training from Howard University Hospital and University of South Florida. He received a Certificate of Appreciation from the US Department of Veterans Affairs, Medical Center of Washington DC in recognition of his valuable dedication and contributions for Veterans and active duty military patients. He also has extensive experience in supervision of medical students and residents from Georgetown University, George Washington University and Howard University and has a fellowship in Addiction Medicine.

Judged based on my “alternative” appearance.
Let me start by saying I am a robotics technician. I more than full time, and when I’m not working, I’m furthering my education, but never mind that.
While standing with me in his, less than private office, he decided to walk me back out to the front to be refunded. Claiming he refused to see me solely based on the medications and doses I listed on his questionnaire. Although I came with proof, he didn’t even bother to ask. He didn’t ask me anything actually and couldn’t give me a straight answer as to why he was refusing to see me as I was initially confused. The medication in question he claimed was an issue, wasn’t an issue for the patient he saw before me. As I could hear him loud and clear, ask the white cis-male if he wanted the medication or not. The patient replied he “wanted what was best for his health.”
Let me not forget to mention how nasty he was being to the young woman working at the front desk. As he stood there telling her to refund me, he proceeded to accuse her of not doing her job by calling me first do discuss... whatever he was throwing his fit about. After asking her a second question in a demeaning tone, I interrupted to let him know that she did call me. That I was the one that didn’t pick up, as I work night shift, and I was asleep when she had called.
So, since he didn’t have an issue with the medication I take when it came to the patient before me, I can only assume he made his assessment based solely on my appearance – given he knew nothing else about me.

Didn't want to evaluate my 16 year old son- he wrote a prescription as soon as we walked in the door. He told me there wasn't a blood test for anxiety and depression and that all he needed was medication. Only questions he asked of my son was how old was he and how much did he weigh.

I saw Dr. Rehman a few weeks ago to discuss attention difficulties that had developed over the past several years. While he treated these appropriately, he also identified a medical problem of which I was unaware and was a significant danger to my long term health. This is particularly ironic as I am an MD myself. In any case, I haven’t felt this well in years and am very grateful.

I am new to the practice but have had a great experience for far. Dr, Rehman listened to all my concerns and dialogues with me about the best dosage for me. As a young patient who has seen many doctors over the years I really appreciated the respect he gave me, he made me feel that I had a say in what worked best for me. Would highly recommend!

I switched to Dr. Rehman after being unsatisfied with another doctor in the area. He listened to my concerns and seems to genuinely care about my well being. He was knowledgeable about different medications, prescribing me one I had never heard of that has been extremely beneficial thus far. I would highly recommend Dr. Rehman!

The building where this office is located is very run down, the office is cluttered with ads for skin treatments and vitamin treatments. The wait was long (about one hour, and we got there on time). The doctor gave us the refill we wanted, but he took very little time to get all the background information about my teenager's medical condition, and the whole appointment was about 25 minutes. It's good if you are looking for a quick refill.

Very impressed with how caring and attentive Dr. Rehman is. He goes above and beyond to accommodate my daughter's treatment needs, and always treats her with compassion and kindness - very rare qualities dor doctors these days. He patiently worked around personal tolerance to the medication and found the one that works for her. I'm so relieved to see my daughter feel better and gratefu to Dr. Rehman. lHe has the best administrator, Tania! She is very efficient, highly organized, prompt and always follows up checking on my daughter's treatment. We are paying out of pocket since insurance plan doesn't cover, but still, Dr. Rehman keeps his rates reasonable. I absolutely recommend him wholeheartedly!

I arrived early and was able to observe Dr. Rehman with other clients and was extremely impressed with his warmth and attentiveness with each patient. I was more than pleased with my visit and am happy to have finally put an end to my search for a great doctor!

Dr. Rehman was worth the one hour drive from my hometown in Maryland, even though I have CIGNA insurance and I had to pay out-of-pocket, it was still completely and entirely worth it! Very experienced and knowledgeable Doctor.
