I can’t recommend this doctor enough ! I’ve never before had a doctors like him. Dr. Etman is super nice and understanding and will explain everything in detail so you’re not confused. Moreover, his support staff is so sweet! 100% recommend even if Tyson’s is farther away they you wish to drive. It’s so worth it !!!!

Dr. Amr Etman is a board-certified OB/GYN who specializes in the evaluation and management of women’s bodies and reproductive health, and has been practicing for several decades. His main areas of interest are in female infertility, transvaginal ultrasonography, recurrent pregnancy loss, intrauterine insemination, IUD implantation and removal, endometriosis, polycystic ovarian syndrome, menopause, and female urinary incontinence. He is also experienced in treating all manner of gynecologic issues, in addition to first-trimester obstetrics.
Dr. Etman graduated from medical school in Egypt in 1987. He completed his PhD program in the United States in 1996 and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a post graduate fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the State University of New York, Upstate Medical University at Syracuse.
After running a successful practice in Wyoming, he recently moved to the Northern Virginia area. He currently resides in Tysons with his wife and pet dog.

Dr. Etman and the nurse working were both extremely nice and helpful. They really spent time to listen to me and I could tell they both were very good at their jobs. The office looks like a severely underfunded middle school- outdated and dirty.. There must have been no heat on as I wore my jacket for the 1+ hour while sitting on my feet to keep warm. Won't be going back.

Dr.Etman was very kind and thorough.
I went in for a ob/gyn annual exam(for pap smear and HPV test) , which could be a quick in and out.
But Dr. Etman took time to sit with me in his office to discuss any female health issues I had.

First time seeing Dr. Etman and I appreciated how much time he spent talking to me about my specific medical concerns, his knowledge on GYN care and his perfect bedside manner. He has a kind demeanor and a sense of humor that made it more comfortable to talk to him, which is often rare with doctors this day. The practice is under remodel so it can make you a little hesitant but the care is perfect and I look forward to visiting once the space has completed it's "facelift."
