Having grown up in a medical family, it was clear to Amy what her calling was for a career. Starting out as a CNA in 2002, Amy finished her Associate Degree in Nursing in 2005. With education always being on the forefront of her brain, she went back to school to complete her Bachelor’s in Nursing in 2009 and Master’s in Nursing with an emphasis in Family Nurse Practitioner in 2016. In her first year of practice, Amy was selected by the International Nurses Association as the Top Family Nurse Practitioner for Phoenix in 2017. Working in demanding areas like wound care, pain management, medical aesthetics, and geriatrics, Amy is well rounded and eager to learn and teach patients and families. Amy joined Valle del Sol family in 2023 and is excited to assist those less fortunate. Amy is a native of Arizona, has one brilliant son, 17 years old, that is starting college next year for medicine. While becoming an “empty nester”, Amy will be going back to school to complete her Doctorate of Nursing is in the verizon for Amy all with the support of her family and two dogs, Persephone and Boris. She also makes sure she is active and serving the community in need whether it be through volunteering at St. Mary’s Food Bank or volunteering in her church’s outreach programs.
