Dr. Bruner was absolutely wonderful. She answered all of my questions regarding ovarian cysts, and gave thoughtful advice and suggestions. She was personable and extremely friendly. I don't think I will ever go anywhere else!

Very personable, easy going, and easy to talk to. Relatable, and very solution oriented. She put me at ease, and offered a plan to ease me through menopause! I felt she really listened. Felt very comfortable with her as my doctor. Highly, highly recommend.

Dr. Amy Bruner, a graduate of the University of California, Davis and the Medical College of Virginia, has been practicing Obstetrics and Gynecology in Portland since 1997. She completed her residency training at the University of California, Davis, Medical Center where she specialized in Obstetrics and Gynecology and was appointed Chief Resident. She is a Board Certified Fellow of the American College of OB/Gyn and has published research work in her field. She is an active member of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, the American Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery and the Minimally Invasive Robotic Association. She lives in Portland with her husband and two sons, and pursues her passions for growing orchids, knitting, traveling and playing classical piano.

Excellent! Only glitch was 30 minute wait after I was int the examine room(which is why I always bring a book with me.).

Great experience. I haven't felt this well cared for at a regular doctors visit since my pregnancies. The whole office was wonderful. They took the time to listen and never made me feel rushed.

I really loved this this doctor and will definitely be returning. I generally hate doctor visits (it's unpleasant, uncomfortable, inconvenience...) but Dr. Bruner was not only warm and very comforting for those of us who are a bit nervous, but thoroughly answered all of my questions, provided info I didn't even think to ask and is generally a fantastic resource. Aside from that, Dr. Bruner and her staff are all very efficient- I didn't feel like any of my time was wasted (unlike a typical trip to the doctor where you watch someone fill out your paperwork). Overall, for a doctor visit it was quite painless.

Amy is amazing. She listens to me and helps answer any questions I have. She treats me like a person not just a patient! I would recommend her and in fact I already have. I told my mom to go see her and now she is a patient of hers too!

Unfortunately I couldn't reschedule my appointment (there was no better time for both of us) and I couldn't afford more than a 15min. delay. Although Dr. Bruner was late all the staff were very understanding and kind and assured me I could make it out in time. I had a very quick appointment and Dr. Bruner had a very bright attitude and everyone was very accommodating. It was a quick but great experience.

She was worth the wait!
I saw that other people had marked the wait long. As far as I can tell that's because she's giving kick ass service to the person before you! It was wonderful experience ... well alright it was for an annual so maybe that wasn't wonderful but you get my drift.

An absolute pleasure! Despite waiting for a little bit (for which they were incredibly and sweetly apologetic), which is never a surprise for any medical office, every aspect of my visit was superb. All staff members were kind and efficient, and Dr. Bruner was wonderful. The aesthetics of the office were lovely and soothing, and despite being a new patient and also very overdue for an annual, my visit was comfortable, easy, and left me feeling happy. At last, a doctor I can look forward to seeing!

Seeing an ob/gyn can be awkward sometimes. However, with Dr. Bruner that was hardly the case. This was my first visit to her office. The parking lot was great since parking downtown can be difficult. The office staff was friendly and helpful when I arrived. Dr. Bruner's assistant was friendly and professional. Finally, Dr. Bruner was great!! She explained what she was going to do ahead of time, asked questions in a way that made me feel comfortable discussing concerns and questions with her. I'm so glad to have found her!!

I was a patient when Dr. Bruner was at another clinic and have followed her to her new office. I love the warm, welcoming atmosphere! The discomfort of being undressed and waiting for your exam was made so much more comfortable with the added touch of a real (fully surrounding) cloth gown and cover sheet. It was such a nice relief to not be sitting in a half upper paper shirt and little paper cover sheet! Thank you for a great visit! I will be back and will recommend Dr. Bruner to anyone asking about a new OB-GYN!
