This was a new patient appointment. The front desk staff was pleasant and efficient. The medical assistant/ nurse was thorough and professional . Dr. Kesselman was thorough, very professional and knowledgeable. She spent time asking questions and listening and made sure all my questions were answered. Her exam was thorough as well and comfortable . I was very pleased with the visit. I would definitely recommend Dr. kesselman and the Bethesda office.

Amy J. Kesselman, MD, FACOG, is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is an associate clinical professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Dr. Kesselman graduated from Yale College and received her medical degree from The Albany Medical College of Union University. She completed her internship and residency at George Washington University Hospital and has been in private practice and an associate faculty member of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 1990.
Dr. Kesselman’s practice focuses exclusively on gynecologic care of females from adolescence through menopause. Dr. Kesselman relishes partnering with her patients in their well-woman gynecological care, as well as diagnosing and treating gynecological problems that develop during a woman’s lifetime. Dr. Kesselman takes pride in the long-standing professional relationships she has maintained with her patients throughout her years in practice, values their confidence and trust in her care, and is privileged to be a part of their lives.

I was very satisfied with my first visit to Dr. Kesselman's office! The office was easy to find and get to, the waiting room was clean, and staff were friendly. I had to wait a bit between each stage (check in, medical history, actual exam) but no more than is typical in any doctor's office. Dr. Kesselman was very friendly and professional and checked in with me 2 or 3 times to make sure my questions/concerns were addressed. Would definitely recommend!
