Dr. Manessis and his entire staff are incredibly nice and have great bedside manners. I am so happy I found Dr. Manessis. I have been struggling with my diabetes since being diagnosed 2 years ago. Dr. Manessis assured me we will get in on track and he and his office are providing me all the tools I need. I for once am optimistic about the future.

I had been seeing Dr Manessis for several years. He's a great doctor. Takes time and listens to your concerns.. but, the last couple of years I haven't seen him personally, only physician's assistants. Also, its almost impossible to book an appointment. If you are lucky enough to have someone answer the phone, the soonest you can see the doctor ('s assistant) is usually a three month wait. When I needed pre-screening for two separate surgical procedures, I was told (by the front desk) that they have no time available and I had to scramble to find someone to help me. A stranger with none of my history. Its too bad, as I said, he's a very good doctor.

Paperwork: I am a new patient of Dr Manessis & took the time to complete all the new patient information online via ZocDoc so that I wouldn't have to take the time to do it when I arrived. Upon arrival I learned that the office didn't receive all the info from ZocDoc and was instructed to fill it out again. When I questioned it I was told they don't get all the info from ZocDoc. Admittedly I wasn't happy and had a curt response but I did fill it out again. I had another issue when I attempted to explain that I wanted to wait until after my appointment to complete the mandatory credit card information sheet (I wanted to make sure I was happy with the doctor first and had concerns about my credit card info & approval being kept in a file-they enter it then shred it). While waiting it became clear that when booking an appointment here to allow yourself extra time. More than one person asked 'how much longer'. I waited about 45 minutes; when I left I heard others say they had been waiting an hour.
Doctor/staff: despite our rocky start the staff was professional however clearly accustomed to people asking about the wait. I saw two assistants (prior to the doc) they were both profession and thorough in gathering info/symptoms. Dr Manessis had been briefed before he saw me, took time for a thorough exam, answer questions and explain what he felt is the best course of action. Clearly the reason for the wait is because the doctor and his team take all the time they need with their patients; good if your in the exam room, a little frustrating when you're waiting.
Overall, I was very happy with the doctor and would recommend him (and bringing some patience for the long wait in the waiting room).

Dr. Manessis is fantastic. I believe he is very competent and extremely knowledgeable. My appointments are always informative, light hearted and to the point.
The only downside is the wait time, on a few occasions I had to wait for almost an hour before I was seen, but he is worth the wait.

I have been looking for an endocrinologist for quite some time. Dr. Manessis was very thorough and understanding. I appreciate the time he spent listening to why I was there. The office staff was also great. The only issue I had was the wait time. I was a little early and waited over an hour to see him. He did not rush me once I was in, so I wasn't bothered by it.
