Office staff were very friendly and capable. There was really no wait time which was really incredible compared to other doctor’s offices. And Dr. Gray is easily the best doctor and specialist I have ever seen. He listened, he explained the views of the x-rays, and the injuries that are most likely the cause of my pain. I highly recommend Dr. Gray as an Orthopaedist. Not only a doctor who practices as an Orthopaedist but a board certified Orthopaedist.

Dr. Nic was born and raised in Dallas, TX. He graduated with honors from the University of North Texas. He attended Baylor College of Medicine for his MD and went on to complete his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He completed a fellowship in Lower Extremity Reconstruction under Roger Mann MD. Dr. Nic serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Exercise, Sports & Orthopaedics. When Dr. Nic is not seeing patients he spends time playing golf, surfing and traveling.
Dr. Nic is an orthopedic surgeon focusing primarily on lower extremity reconstruction, or surgical conditions of the leg. He treats all musculoskeletal conditions in both adults and children. He focuses on least invasive methods wherever possible. He takes a comprehensive approach to care by customizing a treatment plan that fits each patient’s lifestyle, work requirements and family situation.
ARTHRITIS & JOINT REPLACEMENT
For patients with osteoarthritis ("wear and tear") Dr. Nic strives to exhaust conservative measures on all patients including RICE, therapeutic exercise and anti-inflammatories. The patient is in control of which of these they choose to utilize. The goal is to delay the joint replacement for as long as possible in most cases. Dr. Nic has trained extensively and regularly performs joint replacement of the hip, knee and ankle. He does perform revisions of joint replacements in selected cases.
SPORTS MEDICINE
Many conditions may results from those active in sports and other leisure activities. When pain begins after an injury or even out of nowhere, Dr. Nic is well-trained in diagnosing and creating a comprehensive treatment plan for sports injuries. He has served as a physician for athletes at numerous colleges and high schools.

I have visited the Dr.Gay's office before and had a good experience. This time around was terrible - had to wait for 45 mins, the staff were unfriendly and at the end I was seen by a nurse practitioner who directly recommended an MRI without a preliminary diagnosis. When I tried scheduling the MRI, the front desk staff was rude and unpleasant. I'd not visit again.

Dr. Gay didn't make me feel rushed. He explained my options and made a recommendation when I asked for one, which was really refreshing because many doctors cut you off and jump right to "do this" before learning much about your specific situation and goals in terms of your desired level of physical activity, etc.. His staff was friendly and professional.

Dr prescribed anti inflammatory and will go forward the next step is MRI .
I’m very pleased because I will know what or why my shoulder pain is severe.

He seemed ultra-competent with valuable suggestions.
