Dr. Andrea Jane Capalbo was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. Having grown up in a medical family, she feels that providing care to our wonderful and diverse women is part of her DNA. We care for women over the different phases of their lives.
Dr.Capalbo received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Bryn Mawr College, and her MD degree from New York Medical College. She did her residency in OB/Gyn at Beth Israel Medical Center, NYC. She is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. C provides competent and individualized care in a friendly environment, assisted by a patient friendly support staff. We never forget that it is a privilege to be entrusted with someone's health needs.
Professional interests include initial introduction to Gyn exam,well woman exams, birth control, STD screening and treatment, HPV,management of abnormal Pap smears,vaginal infections, polycystic ovary, PMS and premenstrual mood issues, vulvar,pelvic, and sexual pain, menopause symptoms, medical treatment of fibroids, endometriosis,cysts, and irregular uterine bleeding, and UTI treatment.
