About Dr. Jenny Gerner
Welcome to Westside Family Medicine—you've made a good choice! WFM is an independent primary care practice with the motto “where vintage care meets modern medicine.” With a mission to bring inclusive, high-quality, pure primary care to people of all ages, backgrounds, and lifestyles, we challenge the status quo by reminding the world what it means to see a primary care provider. This isn't your average doctor's office. WFM is an ethos—where primary care includes mental health, women’s health, and LGBTQ+ health. Our team includes doctors, NPs, and PAs specializing in adult and pediatric care with advanced experience in GYN, LGBTQ+, and general primary care. We celebrate diversity!
At WFM, you will see a doctor, NP, or PA who practices medicine as it was meant to be—referring patients to specialists only when needed and sending patients to the best specialists in town (not just those affiliated with whoever owns you). While not easy, we strive to create the best healthcare experience for patients and providers alike, and we welcome you to join us on our mission!
Across metropolitan NY, our patients enjoy seamless access to comprehensive care at convenient locations, an open access system where same-day care and minor urgent needs are handled in-office as they arise, and integrated virtual telemedicine care when appropriate. We accept all major commercial insurances, and our patients are true New Yorkers—living, working, and representing the diversity that makes our city special.
Now for the deets: WFM believes in careful, appropriate integration of technology. Once your appointment is confirmed: 1) Email from qWELL, our source for appointment availability. 2) Text from KLARA with registration forms. Note—we have a $40 late cancel fee for all appointments canceled within 24 hours. My goal is to provide comprehensive, compassionate care tailored to each individual's unique needs.
