Andrea Johnson, MSN, FNP-C has been a Nurse Practitioner for over three years. During that time, she has cared for people throughout the lifespan. Andrea is a fourth-generation Arizonan, who enjoys exploring the great state of Arizona, camping, fishing and reading mystery novels.
Educating patients about their conditions is one of Andrea’s great strengths. “In this healthcare environment, we expect patients to be knowledgeable about all of their conditions. To do this, they must be armed with information about how they are managing their health, as well as get tips to return to optimal wellness.” Andrea does this through taking the time to really listen to her patient’s needs, and then providing information both verbally and in writing.
Andrea has taught at Grand Canyon University for over three years. There she has mentored and evaluated nursing students, performed clinical site visits, and is helping to write a textbook.

Andrea Johnson was very understanding an friendly. I would not recommend her if you need medication quickly-- I came to her office from out of town due to my insurance and ended up having to stay the entire weekend due to her forgetting to call in my prescription. When she finally did order it, I was told she ordered the wrong form and my insurance would not cover it, so I had to put off my drive home another 12 hours in order for her to call in the correct one. Very frustrating and careless.
