Andrea Johnstone, Psy.D. is a clinical child psychologist who obtained her master’s degree in Psychology from New York University and her doctorate in School-Clinical Child Psychology from Pace University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at the Child Guidance Center of Southern Connecticut, where she specialized in early childhood assessment and intervention, and served as a consultant for local Head Start classrooms. Her postdoctoral fellowship at Gershon Psychological Associates, LLC in Rhode Island focused on comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for the school-aged population, as well as counseling interventions for children and families. Dr. Johnstone specializes in early childhood assessment, autism and developmental evaluations, school-based assessment and intervention, and early intervention. She also enjoys studying health psychology and conducting bariatric evaluations. (RI License # PS 1425).
