We are excited to welcome Andrea Mainman, MD to MomDoc Midwives in Tucson! Dr. Mainman has been contracting with us in the Phoenix Valley from Tucson since January, 2016. We are excited to welcome her as a full-time supporting physician with our MomDoc Midwives Tucson call group. We appreciate Dr. Mainman’s participation with MomDoc, and we are excited to work more closely with her.
Dr. Mainman currently serves as the Department Chair of Woman and Infant Services at St. Joseph Hospital in Tucson. Dr. Mainman completed her OB/GYN residency at the Hartford Hospital in Hartford, Conneticut in 1996. She attended medical school at the University of Arizona and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences. Dr. Mainman is excited to be working with MomDoc Midwives. We are happy to have her join the group!

I switched to Dr. Mainman in my 26th week of pregnancy. I had very bad experiences with my previous Dr. and wanted to find someone who actually cared, answered my questions/concerns, didn't rush and spend less than 5 minutes with me, someone who would tell me how the well-being of my baby is and not keep losing my info, scans, tests etc. Dr. Mainman is great, is willing to spend time with you, talk to you and answer whatever questions or concerns you may have. It's nice to find a Dr. who has compassion for you and your baby and treats your pregnancy special and gets excited right along with you when you hear the heartbeat, see the ultrasound etc. Unlike my previous office who treats you as just "another pregnant patient" where you're just a revolving door of pregnant ladies, get em in get em out type. The staff is wonderful too. I am so glad I found this place. My only complaint is I wish I'd found them earlier! :)

Dr Mainman was courteous and friendly, and very professional. As far as annual exams go, this was about as easy and painless as it gets! I would recommend her to anybody without reservation.
