About Lirio Miller
Since I can remember, I have cared for others. I was the kid cleaning up my friends’ scraped knees and putting on the bandaids. I have had the opportunity to travel and work in various places and specialties—from pharmacy to Med-Surg to ICU, and even Corrections. I believe in getting to know people, listening with empathy and compassion, and providing high-quality care that helps my patients achieve their healthcare goals. We cannot cure everything, but we can try to improve our health so we may enjoy the lives we are gifted.
I worked as a pharmacy technician for eight years before becoming an RN. For the past seven years, I have been an RN in various settings including Med-Surg, ICU, and Corrections. I earned my Associate’s degree from Pima Community College, my Bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University, and my Master’s in Family Nursing from United States University.
Outside of work, I love going to the gym at least four to six times per week. I also love spending time with my family. I have two very active, creative, and awesome children who drive me to continue trying to be the best version of myself that I can be. When possible, I enjoy traveling. Water is my favorite—so swimming, kayaking, or just lounging by a pool can make my day.
My ability to actively listen, provide compassionate care, and my drive to constantly learn and improve my knowledge help me best serve my patients.

This was only my first appointment with her and I am already so impressed. Lirio Martin was very professional and did an excellent evaluation. My only disappointment was with the CNA who did the wax removal from my ear. She obviously was very new at it and then tried to cover up her inexperience. She said she saw which was impossible because the tip had fallen out of the otoscope and onto my towel on my neck. She did it three times and then told me to use Debrox! She was very awkward. Obviously needs much more training.

I went with a laundry list of needed referrals and it was handled immediately. I wasn't judged at all and the NP listened to everything I had to say. I initially had anxiety prior to my visit and it was gone as soon as I was seen. I would recommend this office to anyone

The wait time was not long (I didn’t check the time when I was called in but believe it was within 5 minutes of my appointment time). TLDR: Way too rushed. Nurses lacked basic medical consent, but the doctor was good.
Lirio Miller seems to be a kind/knowledgeable doctor. I had an appointment to establish care and I have a lot of medical issues. She took time to review it all with me (though it was rushed). I was very impressed by her off-the-cuff knowledge about each of my diagnoses and medications.
The nurses were friendly, but very rushed. They had me filling out two sets of paperwork while also answering questions from the doctor. Then, while I was distracted, the nurse stuck a needle in me without asking or even warning me. That is an UNACCEPTABLE lack of medical consent. Not to mention, she dug around in my vein so bad that I ended up with a huge swollen bruise. Through my tears, the doctor kept asking me questions, which shocked and frustrated me.
I will admit, I only showed up 5 minutes before my appointment because I got lost, but I truly would have preferred that they just reschedule me than rushing me.
