I've had ankle pain on & off for a few years and saw Dr Andrew Carver to diagnosis the problem. He explained in both medical terminology and layman's language what happens to moving joints over the course of 50+ years and the resultant effects. He asked that I check Equinus Deformity online for myself as well to verify his prognosis that over time increased foot-ankle pronation forces torque up thru my ankle and thus the discomfort. He treated the issue but also cautioned that this was not a one-time fix and that it could-would reoccur. I like that he was straightforward regarding the symptoms and treatment, short-term & long-term. Also I respect Sports Medical doctors who have treated professional athletes since I am a weekend warrior often Rollerblade Skating and actively using HIIT Training. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Carver & Farragut Foot & Ankle for any foot pain, plantar fasciitis, heel pain or toenail fungus problems.

Very professional and affable Immediately took care of the problems and suggested a few options. Very effective!
He is the warmest, friendliest and funniest doctor I've ever been too. Made me and my mom feel so comfortable

Dr Carver is a true professional! I didn't have to wait at all and he did a great job. Thank you again.

He didn't take insurance, felt like he was selling me on procedures instead of practicing medicine.
He helped me out with a last minute appointment! Was informative and helpful. Highly recommend.
Disappointed he didn't take my insurance despite what zoc doc told me. Otherwise he was great.

Dr. Carver really knows his stuff, has ridiculous amounts of experience.

Very nice doctor. He however is a concierge doctor and did not take my insurance. This was a problem. The information via the Zocdoc site said that he did accept my insurance. This mismatch of information was a problem.

Zogdoc has my insurance and shows which doctors accept it. When I arrived, he informed me that he recently stopped taking my insurance and I had to pay up front. This also happened to a coworker of mine. Would not recommend him.
Doc is off insurance, says he doesn't take any insurance (unlike what ZocDoc listing says). Good doc though, had great advice.
Latoya and Dr. Carver were very friendly and professional! I went in because I cracked my toenail and Dr. Carver discovered fungus and started me on a treatment immediately. I highly recommend Dr. Carver for fungal treatment.

Nice man. Knowledgeable.
I was seen shortly after I arrived and Dr. Carver was very helpful. He had several suggestions and made me feel at ease about the issue. Would highly recommend.
Nice doctor, very helpful and offered a free consult. Only problem is he does not actually take insurance, though ZocDoc indicates that he does, so I was unable to get treatment at the time of my visit.
Dr Carver does not take Medicare or any insurance. Instead he says that he will submit the paper work to your insurance company and that you will then be reimbursed. Even after being reminded twice, he apparently never submitted the paper work. So he is a pretty good doctor in a convenient location, but you will be paying full price.

Dr. Carver went well beyond my specific complaint and gave a complete checkup of all my issues. actual and potential. affecting my feet. He also took time and care to explain different treatments. And I was impressed with his manner and state of the art technology.
First, this Dr. does not take insurance, so please be mindful of that. He diagnosed 2 of my issues, but the treatment has not helped. I will be looking for another doctor. He made 2 comments that were unprofessional, including one about politics and the other was sexist.
First visit was great. Then I had custom orthotics made and then had to make an appointment to come back and get them. Which was annoying because he wanted to see me with them. Though he didn't charge me when I picked them up I had to wait 40 minutes to get them which would have been fine if he had anything to say about them. He didn't; I could have easily gotten them from his secretary when I had stopped in to grab them instead of having to come back a third time.
Knows his profession and put me at ease. Was very focused on treating my issue in the most effective way possible and was focused on easing my pain and promoting my recovery as quickly as possible. All the time, he maintained a reassuring and positive bedside manner.

I'm a huge wuss when it comes to needles and Dr. Carver did a great job keeping me relaxed and calm. He explained each step and was very friendly. At the end of my appointment it started to rain and he gave me an umbrella.
Great experience. Explained procedure and complexities in a way I could understand, made sure I was completely comfortable and certain before proceeded to move forward with a decision, gave each patient a lot of "face time" and personal attention.

Loved the Saturday appointment availability. Dr Carver listened to all my concerns and explained the causes of my symptoms and possible treatment options in an easily understandable manner; it's clear that he is an expert on feet. Would definitely recommend to a friend. Just be prepared to pay for the cost of the visit upfront and wait for reimbursement from your insurance company...
Thank you Doc, i appreciated, i will recommend you and good luck in our city, it is a beautiful one. See you in a few weeks. Liliane Weinrob
