Andrew Rah, M.D. is an orthopaedic surgeon with specialty training in the treatment of spinal disorders. He has extensive experience in the non-operative and operative treatment of spinal disorders including: degenerative disk disease, disc herniations, spinal stenosis, spinal instability, and spinal trauma. He performs microscope assisted cervical and lumbar procedures, motion preservation procedures, including disc replacement surgery, in addition to minimally invasive fusion and decompression procedures. Dr. Rah received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Brown University. He received his medical degree at New York Medical College where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed his surgical internship and Orthopaedic Surgery residency at NYU-Hospital for Joint Disease. After completing his residency, Dr. Rah completed a spine surgery fellowship at Rancho Los Amigos Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Rah is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a member of the North American Spine Society, California Orthopaedic Association, American Medical Association, and Los Angeles County Medical Association. He has presented research at national spine meetings and has published scientific articles and chapters in spine textbooks. Dr Rah’s professional goal is to provide compassionate, quality care to patients with spinal disorders. He has recently relocated from the South Bay to the West Valley in 2008 with his wife and 3 boys. He enjoys spending time with family and is active in sports including biking, tennis, and weight training.
