About Dr. Andrey Lev-Weissberg

Dr. Lev-Weissberg was born in former Soviet Union and came to US at a young age with his family. He excelled in school and completed his undergraduate studies in three years at University of Illinois, graduating with highest distinction in Biological Sciences, minor in history and chemistry. After entering medical school at University of Illinois Chicago Campus, Dr. Lev-Weissberg took interest in primary care. In medical school, he excelled academically and earned recognition by being selected to receive a prestigious General Assembly Scholarship for total tuition in his final year of medical school. He graduated in the top 25% of medical students at UIC-COM. Dr. Lev-Weissberg, completed his residency in internal medicine at Lutheran General hospital, earning numerous awards . Dr. Lev-Weissberg presented multiple times at the regional and national level.

Disorganized, wait times too long, the people were nice and friendly but they probably were overbooked and the office was way too small for the amount of patients.

Reason for the wait: it was training day and doctor was teaching young doctors. Quite the appointment! 4 doctors - very thorough, friendly and competent. One took detailed history and did an exam, then all 4 came and summarized the reason for visit.

I was impressed by the Dr's knowledge about what causes my stable knee pain. I knew next to nothing about medical procedures, so was surprised when he talked about drawing liquid from my knee to analyze my problem, which was done promptly. I am now awaiting analysis of the liquid. Im so happy with the Dr's expertise.

This was a very satisfying visit. I usually hate going to the doctors office because it's usually very distressing, but I called to schedule an appointment & the lady who answered was very friendly & helpful, got me an appointment same day. Didn't wait a lot & met Dr. Lev-Weissberg. He is very knowledgeable, friendly & respectful. He assured my worries concerning my condition. Loved his attitude & he would be my PCP. Definitely recommend to everyone.
