This was an initial consultation. We were able to cover a lot of ground and I felt that he is concerned and able to treat my issues as an indivual and not generically. I felt at ease immediately. I believe that he is good at listening but also at keeping the discussion focused.
I am new to the city and was looking for a doctor. I had been to a few already and was not satisfied with how they treated me. I made a appointment with Dr.Aneil Shirke and found him to be very nice. He really took the time to talk and explain things to me. He doesn't judge and is very empathetic to what your telling him. I am more happy than ever that I finally found a doctor who I can trust, here in the city. I would recommend him 10/10.

More about Dr. Aneil Shirke, MD

As a physician and therapist, I'll work with you to efficiently achieve Harmony and Balance, Integrity and Courage, in all areas of your life, including work, relationships, family, spirituality and community. I offer the option of adding medications to your integrated treatment plan. That said, I'll tell people when they don't need medications and instead need to focus on taking action. I have had success using this combined approach to efficiently help people into better relationships, better jobs and a better life. I'm available to my patients by phone and text for urgent matters, 24/7. Patients are surprised that I take an hour or more to get to know them during the first session. Being a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, I believe in knowing a person before diagnosing their problems. My job is to understand you to help you empathically understand yourself and make better choices. Patients are entitled to an easily understood formulation of their personal psychological barriers to living more effectively. A Midwesterner by upbringing, I speak plainly about those barriers from the first session. At any point in treatment, I will tell you exactly what's in the way of achieving your goals.

Dr. Shirke is a caring, constructive & creative professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking counseling.
Knowledgable yet unaffected. Great all around personality, especially for a psychiatrist.
He seemed arrogant and contemptuous. He was judgmental and punitive. Not a kind man.
I liked him, very nice person to talk to, he help me a lot I will keep going back
Quite insightful and quick to zero in on helping resolve patient issues.
He was fantastic excellent and very smart with a good sense of humor too
I think he is an intelligent and competent physician.
Found him very personably, compassionate and astute.
I have made an follow-appointment with Dr. Shirke.
Arrogant and lacking in empathy, but all that needs to be said is how he sets up his office. The chair he sits in is quite a bit higher than the chair the patient sits in. I thought that sort of thing went out with Benito Mussolini.
perfection!

Did not feel welcomed--had not seen him for three years but he could not help me with the complexity of my medications but recommended good sleep hygiene for my insomnia problem. He was moody and a bit detached. I remember him three years ago being different every time I went there--an inconsistent mood. He did recommend a sleep study, which might turn out to be a good idea for my case.
Warm, caring , friendly with a sense of humor. I had to cancel my first appointment because of a medical issue and the Doctor called me to find out why I had cancelled. I was very impressed with his calling me and the concern he showed with my medical condition.
Dr. Shirke gave me plenty of time to explain what was happening. As we solved that issue, he was open and receptive to others. He gave practical suggestions that were helpful.
A perceptive caring physician
Helped me begin to solve my problem with practical, actionable counseling. Very sharp and able to get to the root of things that caused my distress .
Amazing!!!
I was very impressed
Very educated and a nice person
Knowledgable friendly. First class.
Very helpful. Warm, smart and good listener.
Dr. Shirke was excellent, he is wise to the point that he knows what your problem is even when you don't answer his questions. He is empathic, professional and cares. He asked the right questions which makes it feel therapeutic and not interrogative. I had a reaction to a medication and immediately he knew it was the dye. Most of all, he gives hope in reminding you that you are more than your illness and life is not over -THANKS DOC
I've been seeing Dr. Shirke for almost 3 years. He's helped me more--and done more to improve my life--than any other doctor I've ever seen. He's compassionate in extremely practical and significant ways, highly efficient, and always on time. The world would be a much better place if all doctors could learn something from this one.
This was my fist visit. I found Dr. Shirke to be very professional. He provided a great analysis after just one appointment and am looking forward to working with him.
Dr. Shrike has been life changing for me. I have seen many providers in this field & none have come close to him. he provides great insight & is not judgemental at all. I have seen results in six weeks & I feel truely fulfilled after each session. Dr. S always puts me first & i highly recommend him.
