Dr. Candelaria is amazing. She immediately took my husband as a patient and has been on top of his care he has been receiving at the hospital. She even took the time to call me directly to see how he was and how I was doing. Wonderful - I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

Unfortunately, Dr. Candelaria is not interested in appropriate action but instead interested in siphoning as much insurance from her patients as possible. She employs the tactics of fear and confusion to prey on her patients once she’s put them into a vulnerable position. I’m a perfectly healthy thirty year old who just came over a four digits out of pocket for heart evaluations that amounted to nothing… all because of a “hunch” she had.
My fiancee is filing a separate complaint with the CT State Practitioner Investigations Unit because Dr. Candelaria is employing these same predatory techniques on a phantom thyroid problem that has, as expected, amounted to nothing. When chargeable "followup calls" (to share results of "everything is fine") were canceled, her office attempted to bully a reversal, claiming "abnormalities" that needed to be addressed, only to eventually back off of those claims and admit that there was no life threatening or immediate risk issues.
Stay as far away from this doctor as possible. Her (and her referrals) all employ the same technique. Wouldn't be surprised if she is getting a kickback from the specialists she referred me to. Shameful behavior and hope that the CT Investigations Division uncovers the scam that's being run.

The best!! She is skilled at listening and understanding. After looking for a primary care physician and finding the wrong ones . . . I knew right away that I was in the right place at last. I'm confident that we will work together to improve my health and that she'll be coordinating all aspects of my health with my specialists. With Dr. Candelaria, I won't feel so alone and helpless in my "senior" state of life. I cannot thank her enough.

This was my first visit with Dr. Candelaria and she is awesome! She was very through and took the time to explain everything in detail. I felt very comfortable talking with her and she answered all of my questions. I was taken on time and the staff was very friendly also.

I really enjoyed meeting Dr Candelaria and her staff: Eileen and Nellie. Dr. Candelaria mad eye contact with me while she was getting my history and that to me is very important!!!
