“Let me just start off by thanking the staff for all their help. I came to this office to get contacts and I had concerns about my glasses that I got from another office. I been having trouble seeing and the doctor rechecked my prescription and it was wrong. She took her time to make sure my prescription was right. She talked to me about other concerns she discovered something the other clinic I went to did not catch which shows that I was being rushed. Finding a clinic where the staff actually cares is always a plus. I was fitted with contacts and new lenses for my glasses. The staff did not rush me even with my hundred questions on coverage from my insurance they took the time to make sure I was able to get what I needed at an affordable rate. Overall I’m very happy with the service I received and will continue to come to this location. Now I can see and will look good doing it. I wish all clinics cared this much about the people coming to them. Oh by the way great selection of frames”

About Dr. Angela (Joby) Kannookkadan
Dr. Joby is a native of the DFW metroplex. She graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a degree in Healthcare Studies and then went on to complete her Doctorate in Optometry from the University of the Incarnate Word, Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio. While in school, Dr. Joby was involved in various optometric organizations and participated in volunteering opportunities including school vision screenings.
Dr. Joby completed a clinical externship at Community Eye Clinic in Fort Worth, TX where she trained in the diagnosis and management of ocular disease, speciality contact lens fittings for patients with Keratoconus, and the management of pre-operative and post-operative cataract surgery patients. She then went on to complete a clinical externship at a private practice in Houston, TX, where she gained experience in dry eye management, myopia management (including Orthokeratology contact lens fittings), and binocular vision assessments.
Dr. Joby is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Texas Optometric Association. In her free time, Dr. Joby enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exploring new places and foods, and playing pickleball.
