Dr. Anisha Farishta, a Texas native, graduated from Houston Baptist University where she double majored in Biology and Biochemistry & Molecular Biology. She then completed medical school at Texas A&M College of Medicine, graduating with honors. During medical school, Dr. Farishta developed a love for women’s health. She continued on to complete her residency from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Farishta is interested in lifelong women’s care including adolescent health, birth control counseling, pregnancy and childbirth, infertility and reproductive health, menopause and hormone therapy along with family planning and women’s preventative care. She strives to develop lifelong relationships and empower patients through counseling and education.
She is trained in full spectrum obstetric care, in office gynecologic procedures, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and is highly motivated to provide evidence based and patient centered care to women at all stages of life. Dr. Farishta is a part of Sugar Land Women’s Care, a female only physician group and currently delivers at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Sugar Land, Texas.
When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Farishta enjoys spending time with her husband and two children and loves exploring new restaurants around town. “The best part of my job is celebrating birthdays all day, every day”.
