Dr. Wasan was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive. She went out of her way to give me several recommendations for doctors completely unrelated to my allergy issues. I was a bit nervous booking via zocdoc with a doctor I’d never seen before, but left feeling well taken care of and pleasantly surprised. I will be going back in several weeks from now and highly recommend Dr Wasan.

She was fantastic! The wait time was a little long for me and I believe there was a hold up of some kind but I didn’t really notice because I was doing their new patient forms (there were quite a few), which are different from the forms provided for check in by ZocDoc. They can be found on their website beforehand, I believe. Parking was super easy, it was around back of the main entrance. The doctor was great and her staff were super nice. The doctor explained everything to me and answered all my questions clearly. I’d definitely recommend her.

Amazing doctor! I've put on hold trying to find an allergist for my son because the last one totally scared the heck out of him. Based on the previous reviews, I took the chance to take him to Dr. Wasan and so glad I did. We drove to VA just to see her and we will come back to her. Very good bedside manner and good staff as well.

Dr. Wasan was wonderful. I have been dealing with eczema for a few years now, and Dr. Wasan helped me narrow down what the cause truly is instead of just recommending a steroid cream! She was very thorough, helped me when my rosacea on my face as well, and I look forward to seeing the results from what she recommended. I came to see her from the Alexandria area and even though it was a 30 min drive, it was totally worth it! Would definitely recommend her!

Dr. Wasan is wonderful! She was running about 5-10 minutes behind but she was very apologetic and listened to my concerns regarding my allergies. I explained to her my symptoms and that one of the allergy medications doesn't provide any relief or comfort and she gave me samples of another medicine.

I was slightly worried by the reviews being too good for Anita. She has a great bedside manner, her staff is personable and efficient. She seemed to really care and was the first doctor to take my weather induced headaches seriously. I would highly recommend her and will see her again.

Dr. Wasan is, by far, they best doctor I’ve encountered. Our only complaint is that we didn’t find Dr. Wasan sooner. She’s the best. I would strongly encourage any friend with allergies—especially pediatrics—to see Dr. Wasan.
We found Dr. Wasan upon recommendation of a friend for treatment of our son’s food and seasonal allergies. She is conservative in her approach in terms of patient well-being, but aggressive in terms of treatment plan that works to improve the health of the patient. We have seen her at least once a month for a year and have found amazing success in her approach. Inside of a year she has completely changed my son’s life as she has opened up the opportunity for him to eat nearly any food—previously he was severely restricted and his previous doctor indicated that he just needed to just live without many things.
Dr. Wasan is very friendly, takes time to understand the issue at hand and discusses treatment options, rationale and approach with you in a manner that feels like you’re talking to a friend. She is extremely well informed on the latest issues in her field and is very good with children. Our son has been known to sing a Dr. Anita song on the way to see her. We drive 30 minutes, past many other allergists to see Dr. Wasan.
We have been into the office for various food challenges and tests more than a dozen times in the last year and each appointment starts on time and is well managed.

I wanted to find an allergist for both myself and my daughter, and chose Dr. Wasan specifically because she also has a background in pediatrics. It was also really easy to book the appt online, and I was able to come in the very next day. I only made the appt for my daughter and was going to set a separate appt for myself, but they were very accommodating on the spot. Dr. Wasan saw us both at the same time, and answered all our questions. We needed a prescription filled along with some lab work, and we were able to get it all done in the same morning. The Quest Diagnostics and CVS nearest to their office were both very quick.

Wonderful doctor. She will listen to you and will work with you closely to find a solution. She will not hesitate to do more test if you still don't know the reason for the symptoms. She was doing skin test for allergies, patch test (that my dermatologist did not do), and food intolerance tests (that my ex GI doctor did not do). She will try to help you!
