Anna Cruz is a Board Certified Nurse Midwife that joined the Monroe OBGYN team in August 2022. She brings over a decade of experience in women’s healthcare with a strong educational background, which includes a Master of Science in Nursing from Wayne State University with a specialty in the midwifery model of care.
Anna’s passion for childbirth began while she worked as a labor and delivery nurse, she felt that women should have more personalized options in their birth journey. She has a strong belief that every woman deserves a midwife.
Anna specializes in low-risk pregnancies, adolescent care, LGBTQ+ health, and perinatal mood disorders. She is passionate about empowering women to make informed healthcare decisions and is dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care across the lifespan. Anna is excited to work towards transforming the spirit of care in Monroe, MI.
