We absolutely love Dr. Shier!! She is amazing! Our daughter has her life back again, and so do we, thanks to Dr. Shier. Our daughter was misdiagnosed for 5 years by numerous therapists, developmental pediatricians, and psychiatrists, and we were starting to lose hope and happiness. The first time that we met with Dr. Shier she knew exactly what was going on with our daughter and how to help her. We would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Shier, she is wonderful!! She is not only highly intuitive and knowledgeable, but she CARES for our daughter!! She truly cares about our little girl, and she wants to help make her feel better and help her live a happy functioning life. Dr. Shier is the most caring doctor that we have ever encountered, she responds when you reach out to her! We could not be any happier with her and we will be forever grateful to her for all that she has done for our daughter and our family!!!

We are a private psychiatric clinic in Scottsdale, Arizona providing comprehensive and
individualized care to children and adults.
We strive to promote emotional wellness to the patients and families we serve through compassion, respect,
and the practice of safe,evidence based medicine. At this time we do not accept insurance so that we can ensure to have adequate time with you during visits. We will provide you with an invoice to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. All appointments online require that Dr. Shier speak with you first prior to confirmation of appointment (480)281-1636. **We also have a new policy that individuals may not schedule new patient appointments one someone else's behalf as it has led to scheduling conflicts unless it is a parent scheduling on behalf of their minor. All appointments scheduled by those other than the patient will be automatically cancelled.**

Dr. Shier has always been very knowledgeable with medication to treat my son's ADHD. She even shared her knowledge of homeopathic options and never once pushed us to medicate. She simply gave us all the options and has supported us while we made our choices. We are so happy we found her. She gave us our son back!

I had very bad anxiety before I met Dr. Shier. Now my panic attacks are gone and I feel much better. She is a caring and excellent doctor.

Dr. Shier is really a wonderful and caring doctor. She listens and really takes into account your thoughts and wishes. I will never look for another psychiatrist because I can't imagine finding one better.

We were so happy to find Dr. Shier for our daughter. She took the time to make her feel comfortable and really listened to our concerns. There was no doubt that she truly cared about our daughter. She eve sat on the floor to play with her until she warmed up. It has been a great experience so far.

Dr. Shier is very warm & caring. She really takes the time to understand our concerns & challenges. It is very easy to contact her & to make an appointment. We feel very fortunate to have found her & to utilize her expertise in helping to care for our daughter. I would highly recommend her to any family looking for psychiatric help for their children.
