In 1994, Dr. Silva graduated from The University of Texas with a bachelor of arts in biology. She completed her doctorate at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 1998. Dr. Silva finished her residency in Family Medicine in 2001 at the University of Iowa. Dr. Silva came to Kelsey-Seybold from Kaiser Permanente in San Francisco’s Bay Area where she provided primary care to adults from 2002 to 2010. While there, she provided electronic medical record system education and training to physicians and medical assistants. She served as assistant module chief of the Spanish Bilingual Module.

I had an appointment booked weeks in advance with this Dr and unfortunately was told I was “called” earlier in the day of my appointment to reschedule due to him having a meeting. I never once received a call and took time out of my work schedule to be there just to get told this the day of my appointment. If I booked weeks in advance why was I made aware the day of my appointment? Mind you, when I checked in I never was told this information until 20min into waiting for my appointment. After being upset & expressing my frustration, the receptionist made multiple calls to see if a different dr could see me. Dr. Silva accepted & although I appreciated the help, it still makes me upset that I wasn’t seen til late in the evening when I had a 3:45 appointment scheduled. Wouldn’t recommend this DR, due to no communication or scheduling organization.

one of the best doctors office visits I've had in a very long time. The staff and physician we very prompt and professional. they also had a very friendly attitude so it felt more like a visit with friends instead of a doctors appointment. I will definitely be going to them in the near future when needed
