Based on her reviews here, I was expecting someone very thorough and patient. It may have been the unprecedented times we live in and the unconventional manner of meeting first time patients through video, but I did not sense much warmth or pleasant bedside manner from this physician. She seemed distracted and annoyed throughout most of our visit. She took notes and was flipping through clinical notes throughout the visits, but I felt she wasn't really paying attention to what I was saying. The reason I came to her was because I felt pretty dismissed by my last GI when I was bringing up symptoms and wanted to consult someone more understanding. Unfortunately I don't think I got that from Dr. Strongin. I did appreciate her willingness to explain various things to me and it may just have been a bad day for her.

Dr Strongin was very professional and friendly. She even recommended at restaurant in the area where I could have lunch while the pharmacy prepared my medication. I did not feel rushed. She listened to all my concerns and answered thoroughly.

Dr. Strongin is wonderful. She had a major hunch of a diagnosis after a 20 minute talk at our initial consultation, then confirmed the diagnosis with tests. Was able to figure out the real problem when many previous doctors just waved my symptoms off. Because she talked to me for an extended amount of time, she could put together the pieces and really figure out what was going on as opposed to giving a superficial diagnosis.

Honestly, this was my first time visiting Dr.Strongins office. & I would highly recommend her! Unlike doctors nowadays, she takes her time. She wasn’t quick to just put me on meds, but really wants to find the root cause. Plus, she is very friendly!
