I really liked Dr Blake . She was conservative about ‘cutting ‘ and Very knowledgeable About the Identification of various skin issues ...so happy to have found a good dermatologist to take the place of my retiring old favorite ..someone who does not go overboard with biopsy and chemo cream .
Office check in a bit odd ...had to stand in a line to get to receptionist .

Dr. Anne Miller Blake is a Cum Laude Graduate of The University of Notre Dame. She earned her medical degree from University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, KS and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society her junior year. She completed a transitional internship at Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago, IL and Dermatology residency at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She received multiple awards for academic excellence as an undergraduate and Medical student. As a resident, she co-authored articles and presented at state and national meetings. Dr. Blake is board certified in dermatology and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.
Dr. Blake has a clinical interest in adult and pediatric medical dermatology, surgical dermatology and skin cancer detection. She will be seeing patients in the Leawood office.

Arrived at 9:20, as requested, for 9:40 first appointment with Dr Blake. Called by nurse at maybe 9:45. Dr Blake walked in a little after 10 as if that was the appointment time - no comment about my ~15 minutes wait in a paper gown. Hmm, not a great first impression. My time is important, too. Tell me the real appointment time and we’ll both be happy. Thanks for asking...hope someone reads this and considers a patient’s time, too.

Dr. Blake was very friendly and thorough. She talked through everything she was seeing as she performed my skin check. She prescribed some cream to help with some spots under my eyes. I was pleased that my wait was not too long to see her, and the exam was conducted promptly. Would definitely see her again!

I thought Dr. Blake was amazing. She was friendly, professional and put my mind at ease regarding my concerns. I was not however happy about filling my forms out ahead of time online...getting to the office, and the receptionist not being able to find them. Needless to say, I had to spend 15 mins filling out my forms all over. What If found ironic, is that my insurance name was showing up on my online appointment reminders. So...it was in your system. This was extremely frustrating.

Dr. Blake was very professional, thorough and personable. She clearly explained her findings and treatment options if applicable. The Medical Assistant who took my medical data was also very professional and personable. The intake staff were a little cold but not unkind, just not welcoming. The initial paperwork requiring completion was quintessential health care, requiring your name, address, birthday and phone number over and over.

Can't complain had a couple questionable spots and wanted checked out. She examined and suggested scrapping several spots. Good technique. Was able to get appt. In my timeframe and in network.

Dr. Blake and her nurse were fantastic. The front desk however was dissapointing. I filled out the forms on this site to avoid the extra paperwork at the time of my arrival and they said the paperwork from this site wasnt good enough, I basically had to fill out the entire same information all over again, I HATE writing, and it hurts my hand.
Dr. Blake is very smart, caring, and helpful and welcoming. I'll go back to see her, I only hope the front desk and this site get their issues sorted out.

Dr. Blake seems very knowledgeable, was pleasant, and made me feel generally at ease. The only complaint I would have about my visit was that I pre registered on zocdoc with very detailed information, but when I arrived, the front desk required much of the information again.

They will still make you fill out a bunch of paperwork even if you filled out your forms on zocdoc. I had to wait almost 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment before I was called back to see the doctor. Dr. Blake however was very sweet and offered lots of great advice. She recommended that I come back to see her in a couple months to follow up on some medications that she prescribed!

I switched from a dermatologist, who I was not fond of at all, to Dr. Blake. For my first visit, Dr. Blake was amazing! She was very knowledgeable and reassuring when it came to all my concerns. I loved her, she was GREAT! I highly recommend her and will continue to go to her from now on.

This appointment was just a little awkward. The staff didn't seem like they were happy to be there. The wait time was decent but the appointment seemed a little rushed. Everyone was very automated. It made me apprehensive to pursue any other kinds of treatments or ask additional questions. Again, the whole experience was awkward.
