I've seen Dr. Ressalam a few times with my senior mom late last year and a few times for myself in the last month. She is very thorough, listens, explains issues very well, and asks if anything else she can help with. She does not rush through the appt either. I would recommend her as an internist.
Dr. R. was extremely helpful in asking for blood and other tests to diagnose and treat my mother's anemia and eventually it was discovered that the anemia was due to a colon cancer tumor. My mother's symptoms were not previously addressed by a SC physician, so was pleased with the interactions with Dr. R. I then decided to have Dr. R. as my own primary MD.

Doctor was ok. Not very engaged. Seemed like she was in a rush. Office staff was completely unacceptable. They were yelling at patients and argumentative and rude. I’m shocked as to how they are up and running. Scary stuff.

Dr Ressalam has great bedside manner and was very easy to work with. She was very thorough and it was overall a positive experience. The wait is often long & the front office hasn’t always been efficient but I really like Dr Ressalam & will continue to see her.

Honestly the best doctor I've ever come across. I dislike going to doctors in general mostly because I always felt like I would never come out with any answers to my questions. But Dr. Ressalam is amazing! She's so easy to talk to and very attentive! I came out of both of my visits with her understanding everything that was discussed because she actually takes the time to explain things to you. And if there is an issue that needs to be addressed she shows genuine concern and makes you feel like she will do anything in her power to find answers for you. I'm really happy with my new primary care physician!

Dr. Ressalam is a great doctor. I never felt rushed, and I feel like she genuinely cared about my health and patiently answered a few of my questions during a routine physical. I recommend this doctor!

Staff was pleasant and the doctor especially so. There was a good deal of wait time between seeing the assistant for vitals and seeing the doctor and then seeing the lab corps specialist so efficiency could be improved.

I didn't feel comfortable with the Dr. or her office staff. They never secured my records from my doctors in Florida, yet they schedule 3 appointments (which I had to pay copays on each time and charged my insurance) basically to look at me. She scheduled X-Rays of my knees, then was not available to review the results. Instead, she had a colleague host my appointment. He stated he couldn't access the XRays although they were sent to the office electronically. The doctors, including Dr. Ressalam, acted as if they were scared to touch me. I went in with complaints about Sinus pressure and ear pain, they never even looked up my nose or in my ears to see if there was anything wrong. I had been told I had high blood pressure from my previous doctor and that there were growths on my Thyroid, hence why I wanted them to get the health records, yet after 3 visits and over a month, they still had not secured them nor did they Dr. make any moves on her own to gain that knowledge. When I called to request them myself, I was told that there was no record of any request for my records. I am a member of the LGBTQ community and will now be looking for a doctor that doesn't barely conceal their disgust in treating me.

Dr. Ressalam and her staff are friendly, professional and efficient. I've never experienced long wait times. Dr. Ressalam is a great listener, thoughtful, highly knowledgeable and proactive. Her bedside manner is friendly, warm, and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Ressalam and her office.
