Over the course of his distinguished career, Dr. Anthony DeMeo has become an expert on all things allergy. Specializing in skin allergies, Dr. DeMeo is also a top practitioner in dealing with asthma, hay fever, food and drug allergies and allergies to metals and cosmetics. Since moving to Walnut Creek in 1972, Dr. DeMeo has become part of the fabric of the community and now serves on the staff of John Muir Medical Center. From the beginning of my visit, this was a great experience. The front office staff is friendly, helpful and competent, and had me signed in quickly. I filled out the "first time" paperwork, and the doctor saw me minutes later.
Dr. DeMeo went through my health records carefully and thoroughly, and I was impressed with the number of questions he asked so as to have a complete history. I have a great deal of anxiety in a doctor's office, but Dr. DeMeo put me at ease, treated my condition, and sent me on the way with good advice and a friendly goodby.
I will definitely be back, and I recommend that others give him a try.

Dr. DeMeo is an excellent doctor. He diagnosed my condition, did a full check up. He was able to administer treatment in the office. Left feeling much better.

Dr. DeMeo is warm, friendly and reasonable. I needed a new primary doctor but didn't know where to go. I found Dr. DeMeo recommended on here and took a chance. He was wonderful. He took my input on my medical history and conducted a thorough exam. Then he renewed my prescriptions that I need to maintain good healthy sugar levels and blood pressure and to keep my asthma in check. I later bumped into him in a restaurant in Concord and he warmly introduced me to his son. I strongly recommend him to any prospective patients.

While I got the impression that Dr DeMeo was highly skilled and experienced in his specialty he was unable to help me and referred me to another specialist. What disturbed me the most about the visit is that Dr. DeMeo and his staff did not respect my gender identity, I got the impression that the doctor himself was going out of his way in that regard.

Met with Dr. DeMeo and staff first time for an allergy consultation and physical exam. I was very impressed with everything and everyone there. I concur with the other comments that the Doc communicates well and explains things, as do the staff. So my feedback is very positive.
