My only complaints was the wait- we had to wait approximately 45 minutes to be seen. However, Dr. Parris was very nice and attentive. He listened to my concerns regarding my son's issue and told me what needed to be done.

Dr. Anthony Parris has been a medical dermatologist for 25 years. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at New York Presbyterian Weill-Cornell Medical College. He holds three board certifications in Dermatology, Dermatopathology, and Anatomic Pathology. Dr. Parris is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. He is a member of the European Academy of Dermatology and the American Medical Association, the New York State Dermatologic Society, and the Greater New York Dermatologic Society. Dr. Parris specializes in adult, pediatric and geriatric dermatology and dermatologic surgery.
He has a special interest in medical dermatology with emphasis in the treatment of psoriasis and eczema and the use of phototherapy to treat these conditions.
Dr. Parris has been supervising dermatology residents at the New York Presbyterian- Weill Cornell Medical Center dermatology clinic for the past three decades and enjoys teaching other physicians in the art of medical dermatology.

Visit was extremely rushed. I told staff that it was my first visit to a dermatologist and I wanted to have a consultation to learn about my skin and the best way to take care of it. The first thing he asked me was "what problem do you have." I told him I wasn't sure exactly, but I wanted him to evaluate my skin type and make recommendations for a regiment to have healthier skin. Dr. Parris barely looked at me and then prescribed acne medication. When I asked for natural skin remedies, he recommended a product line that they sold in-house and sent me on my way. He answered my questions ambiguously and did not recommend any specific products, regiments, or remedies I could use. He was itching to get out of this chair the entire appointment and he spoke to me for less than 10 minutes.
