Office staff is extremely patient and helpful. The best I have ever encountered. Doctor Smartnick has been a great help. I would highly recommend him to friends and family. Sometimes it’s hard to convey my past experiences and treatments but that is mostly my fault. I feel he tries his best to listen and understand what we are going through.

Dr. Smartnick holds lifetime certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has more than 25 years of experience in inpatient, outpatient and private practice psychiatry working with adults. He earned his medical degree from Georgetown Medical School and served his residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland, where he was chief resident. Dr. Smartnick's specialty areas include treatment of bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), panic disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), postpartum depression and schizophrenia. He is a suboxone provider for treatment of opiate and opioid use disorders.
