My goal is to offer support to people who struggle with mental health issues, to hear their stories, and to respond with empathy and understanding. As a nurse with a few decades of experience and a Master’s in Nursing from New York University, I believe in a patient-centered, holistic approach where patient needs are prioritized and treatment decisions are made by mutual agreement.
I offer psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and brief psychotherapy, as well as medical marijuana certification.
As a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I focus on wellness, functional restoration, and relief of symptoms to promote optimal health throughout each person’s life journey.
My passion is to guide individuals toward mental wellness, especially those who have experienced various kinds of trauma, by using EMDR therapy. I firmly believe that EMDR therapy is highly effective for patients who have struggled with trauma for years in traditional therapy. EMDR is time-limited, promotes fast recovery, and is easily adaptable to anyone.
I am also a certified provider for the medical marijuana program.
