Anya Romanoff, MD, is a board certified General Surgeon who specializes in the treatment of patients with breast cancer. She earned her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine, after which she completed a residency in general surgery at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a fellowship in breast surgical oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. At the Dubin Breast Center, Dr. Romanoff works in close collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and support staff members to ensure that patients receive the most advanced and appropriate treatment as part of a personalized care plan. She uses the most current surgical techniques, including oncoplastic breast surgery, skin and nipple sparing mastectomy, and sentinel lymph node biopsy. Her research interests include novel breast cancer diagnosis and treatment techniques. Dr. Romanoff also is involved in global health initiatives to help improve access to care and equalize breast cancer outcomes worldwide.
