Dr. Pedersen earned his Doctor of Medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. He completed an internship and general surgery residency at Mercy Health - St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital in Youngstown, Ohio. He then completed a Plastic Surgery Residency under Gilbert Albert, MD, at Akron City Hospital, Ohio, followed by a Microsurgery Fellowship at the Christine M. Kleinert Institute for Hand & Microsurgery in Louisville, Kentucky. A firm believer in giving back, Dr. Pedersen is Founder and CEO of Breast Oasis, a nonprofit partnering with brands like Le Myst?re and Bloomingdale's to provide women in need with gently used bras and healthcare information. Dr. Pedersen is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery and the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
