He was short with me and rushed me. If he didn’t have time to see me after I was running late I would rather he told me to cancel/reschedule instead of telling me to “talk fast.”

Absolutely wonderful bedside manner. The most kindest doctor I’ve ever seen. You can tell right away that he genuinely cares about his patients and makes an effort to explain procedures, treatments, and medical terms so that we’re on the same page. Very friendly and knowledgeable, 100/5 if I could. He’s not judgmental in the slightest, I don’t even think it crosses his mind. He has a good relationship with the staff as well, they are all very communicative, kind, and driven. If you’re afraid of needles, the staff are certified phlebotomists and the blood draws are virtually painless. 1/10 pain after blood draw is done, sore for maybe 30 minutes, and all it leaves is a very tiny bruise that’s completely painless! Very easy to have conversations with. Again, 100/5 if I could!

Dr. Mateo and the staff were all very kind. I was seen right away. Dr. Mateo listened patiently as I voice my concerns and recomended a plan of action to ameliorate my symptoms, suggesting a follow up appointment to observe my symptons again. He is very knowledgeable and asks the right questions. I would lhighly reccoment him to anyone with ongoing health concerns that is looking for a trustworhty, knowledgeable, and caring doctor.
