Dr. Arif Zaman is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with over a decade of experience in patient care. His studies took him to the beautiful island archipelago of Antigua and Barbuda, where he completed his medical degree at American University of Antigua followed by his residency in Family Medicine at MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Prior to joining Quality Primary Care, Dr. Zaman worked in an acute/urgent care setting which bolstered his ability to triage, assess and diagnose a diverse range of patient conditions, exercise prompt and efficient decision making and resolve complex medical concerns.
Dr. Zaman is thrilled to be a member of the Quality Primary Care team where he can foster positive and meaningful relationships with patients in his care. For him, medicine is more than a job, it’s a “call to service” allowing him to connect with patients to help improve their health while contributing to the overall well-being of the community. Dr. Zaman is committed to partnering with you in a comprehensive team-based approach to help you address underlying issues or concerns, treat your medical ailments and manage your overall health, so that you can focus on becoming the best version of yourself.
Dr. Zaman was born and raised in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan area and is proud to sell call the DMV “home”. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, exploring different cuisines, working on home improvement projects, and rooting for local sports teams.

I highly recommend the office of Dr. Arif Zaman. From the moment you walk with the greeting n welcoming receptionist makes you feel at ease. Dr. Zaman bedside manners were very professional and he was able to pin point my condition in a timely manner. I would highly recommend Dr. Zaman especially after the work injury I've been dealing with through the work Comp. He truly treats patients with respect, compassion and kindness.
