I have flat feet and a bunion so I really need a podiatrist. This doctor was the most thorough I have met so far and he even watched me walk to see if I pronate while walking or not. He came up with a treatment plan and hopefully soon my foot pain will be over.

Dr. Gudeon earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He has been a teacher at the NY Podiatry College and is a past president of the NYCPM Alumni Association, as well as a current board member of the NYCPM Alumni Relations Association. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a Diplomate of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (Board Certified in Foot and Ankle Surgery). His private practice is Family Podiatry of Rego Park. He has been practicing for over 50 years and is part of the APMA's Mentors Program.
Over his long career, Dr. Gudeon has held many faculty positions at health and educational institutions and was affiliated with numerous health institutions, many of which have since closed. His current professional affiliations include the American Academy of Podiatric Sports Medicine, American Board of Podiatric Surgery, the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association (Life Member), the New York State Podiatric Medical Association (Life Member), and its Queens Division.
His athletic affiliations mostly center on tennis; he has cared for the feet and ankles of several professional tennis players at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center (host of the US Open) in Queens, including John McEnroe, Jimmy Connors, Ivan Lendl, and others-mostly for trauma, orthotics, and related issues. He plays tennis frequently and is a nationally ranked team member with his grandson Sam in the USTA National Doubles Tournament.
Dr. Gudeon's community service includes volunteering as a Podiatry Volunteer and Coordinator at Ground Zero after September 11, 2001, staffing over 50 sessions and caring for the feet and ankles of firefighters and other first responders during the eight months following the attack. He is now represented in three exhibits at the 9-11 Memorial Museum, including an oral interview and a photo taken during treatment of a responder.
